Mr. Khai also said only feasible projects should be considered for implementation in other localities.
Covering 500 hectares, the Vietnam-Singaporean Industrial Park (VSIP1) was set up in Binh Duong province in 1996 with the international standard management and infrastructure system and has been considered a model of industrial parks in Vietnam.
During Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh’s visit to Singapore last month, the two countries signed memorandum of understanding to build 5 more industrial parks with the estimated investment worth 1 billion USD in different localities in Vietnam in the next three years.
