The organizing committee received 430 entries from 300 individuals and groups in four categories — print, radio, television, and online.

Minister of Natural Resources and Environment Do Duc Duy said the entries offer in-depth analysis and criticism; provide a comprehensive, objective, and honest view of resource management, environmental protection, and climate change; and encourage the responsible use of natural resources, environmental protection, and biodiversity conservation.

"Strong support from journalists, reporters, and editors has positively influenced thinking, awareness, and actions at all levels, helping to improve resource management, environmental protection, and climate change response in the nation's development path," Duy added.
