Voters in the Central Highlands city of Pleiku have put forward suggestions to some pressing issues during a meeting with lawmakers on Nov. 30 to discuss the outcomes of the recent National Assembly session. They called on the National Assembly to focus more on inflation control, the fight against corruption and measures to attract and fully tap the potential of talented people. “This National Assembly session touched upon public concerns and its results have met people’s expectations. Given the current rate of inflation, the top legislative body should reconsider the salary policy to help improve state employees’ living standards,” said Siu H’Dinh, a voter of the Jarai ethnic minority group.
