(VOV) – The Steering Board of the project on vocational training for rural labor met on Tuesday to discuss amendments in mechanisms and policies related to vocational training for rural workers.

Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Thien Nhan said the project’s funds must be allocated properly and effectively to the right recipients. He asked localities to work out an agenda for the training. Localities also need to conduct a survey on the need for vocational training and workforce needs, in order to determine proper training methods. Nhan urged localities to complete a review of the implementation of the project prior to the middle of next month.
