Giang’s victory at the Panas Malaysia Open earlier this month earned him 1,000 points, securing his position at the top of the leaderboard.

Born in 1997, Giang was formerly one of Vietnam’s top tennis players, having contributed significantly to the national team in Davis Cup and regional competitions.

As pickleball continues to grow in popularity in Vietnam, Giang has made a successful transition to the sport. He often teams up with Ly Hoang Nam, Vietnam’s former No.1 tennis player, in both domestic and international pickleball events.

Following the Malaysia event, the PPA Tour Asia will move on to the Hong Kong Open and Japan Open in August, followed by the Vietnam Open in September, and will conclude with the Malaysia Cup in October.
