The results were attributable to favorable import markets and businesses’ investment in modern production and diversification of products. Experts predict Vietnam’s exports of tra fish will continue to grow thanks to the products’ better quality and higher value, plus 0% tariff brought about by the new-generation free trade agreements and Vietnam’s improved processing industry.
Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Nguyen Xuan Cuong said: “We have exported fish fillet and fish skin, which will be used to make collagen. In the near future, fish bones and flesh will be used. We need to continue research to turn out new products.”
