(VOVworld) - Vietnam is considered a “new dragon” of ASEAN nations, according to analysts at a seminar in Paris on Tuesday to introduce Vietnam’s investment potential. The seminar was organized by the Paris Chamber of Commerce and Industry, UNIFRANCE, the French agency for international business development, and the French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Vietnam. The seminar is part of activities to celebrate the 40th anniversary of diplomatic ties between Vietnam and France. In his address, Vietnamese ambassador to France Duong Chi Dung said economic, trade and investment relations between the two countries have steadily developed with two way trade turnover reaching 3.3 billion USD last year, up 13%. France is the second largest EU investor in Vietnam with 340 projects worth 3 billion USD. Dung said Vietnam and France are preparing to establish a strategic partnership within the framework of economics, trade, and investment cooperation.
