Vietnam’s first overseas tourism office opens in UK

(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam’s first overseas tourism office was opened in London, on Tuesday.

Le Quang Tung, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism, said the office will help British people learn about Vietnamese tourism.

The office, named “The Visit Vietnam”, is tasked with coordinating with British partners to promote tourism cooperation.

Kate White, Director of Asia Pacific at Britain’s Foreign and Commonwealth Office, hailed the opening of the office, and said she believes the upcoming F1 Vietnam Grand Prix in Hanoi will once again prove Vietnam to be an attractive destination for travelers.
