Vietnam’s farm produce to be exported to EU, enjoying tax incentives

(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam plans to export several kinds of agricultural products to the European Union this week under the EU-Vietnam Free Trade Agreement (EVFTA), following the successful shipment of shrimps – the first enjoying the deal’s tax incentives.

The Dong Giao Exported Food Company will export passion fruit and the Vinh Hiep 400 Company will ship coffee on Wednesday.

On Thursday, grapefruit, coconut and dragon fruit will be exported by the VINA T&T Group Company. According to the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, the export value of agro-forestry- fishery products to the EU last month surged 17 percent to 350 million USD.
