Vietnam’s exports to Russia surge

(VOVWORLD) -Vietnam’s exports to Russia increased rapidly in the past ten months, with seafood and textile products proving to be popular among Russian consumers, according the General Department of Vietnam Customs.

During the reviewed period, Vietnamese exports to Russia enjoyed a 12% increase to 2.3 billion USD. The nation’s key export items to Russia include telephones and their components, computers, electronics, textiles, footwear, and seafood. Vietnam represents Russia’s largest trading partner among ASEAN members and is ranked sixth overall in the Asia - Pacific region. The country accounts for about 0.75 per cent of Russia’s total import and export turnover.
