During the event on Wednesday, delegates reviewed Vietnam’s economy last year and made policy recommendations to ensure economic recovery and growth in the context of pandemic control. They called for prudent loosening of the monetary policy and targeted fiscal support to affected businesses as well as reduced fees and charges. A priority list of social welfare policies should be drafted with more public spending and credit supervision for safety.
