Vietnam’s daily COVID-19 cases hit a one-year low

(VOVWORLD) -The Ministry of Health said that from 4:00 p.m. on Saturday to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, Vietnam recorded 465 cases of COVID-19, down more than 200 cases compared to the previous 24 hours and the lowest number of cases in more than 1 year.

On Sunday, there was still no COVID-19 deaths. 8,477 recoveries were reported.

Since the onset of the pandemic, Vietnam’s caseload has hit 10,754,813, ranking 12th out of 227 countries and territories, while with the ratio of infections per 1 million people, Vietnam ranks 112th.

The total number of recoveries so far is 9,764,864 and the death toll is 43,089, accounting for 0.4% of the total number of infections.

235,551,915 doses of vaccines have been administered nationwide.
