(VOVworld) Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung has chaired the regular cabinet meeting to review January’s socio-economic development and the situation during the traditional lunar New Year. Cabinet members acknowledged strengthened political security and social order during Tet. CPI experienced a slight increase of about 1%, the lowest in a decade. But severe cold snap was harmful to the agricultural production in the north. Small and medium-sized enterprises continue to struggling with decreasing consumption and high banking interest. During the meeting, cabinet members also reviewed the implementation of the 1992 Constitution, discussed amendments and supplements to the Tax Law and the guiding decree for the Law on Natural Resources.
