Vietnam's 1,600 studies published in international journals in 2020

(VOVWORLD) - More than 1,600 research works by scientists at the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology have been published in prestigious international journals this year, up 37% against last year.

The figures were released at Friday’s ceremony in Hanoi to review the Academy’s achievements in 2020 with a plan for next year.

The Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology has been named as one of the 28 leading innovation organizations in 2020 in South Asia by Clarivate, a world leader in analysis, reputation evaluation, and research quality.

The Academy aims to create breakthroughs in the application and transfer of science and technology by 2025 to turn Vietnam into a regional leading scientific center.
