The book, co-compiled by the Vietnam National Archives and the Russian Federation Archives, reiterates historical values of the Geneva Conference and clarifies the French war in Indochina. It was published in Russian 2 years ago on the occasion of 100th anniversary of the Russian October Revolution.
The 900-page Vietnamese version of the book contains 200 photos, letters, announcements, reports, and phone call transcripts related to the Geneva Conference, international movements for peace in Indochina, and Vietnam’s situation from 1950 to 1954. It provides valuable source material for researchers of the Geneva Conference and the history of the Vietnam-Russia relationship.
