Vietnamese translation of Pact for the Future now in circulation at UN

(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Ambassador Do Hung Viet, presented the Vietnamese translation of the Pact for the Future to Philemon Yang, President of the 79th UN General Assembly, at Friday’s event in New York promoting multilingualism in UN activities.

Adopted by world leaders at the Summit of the Future in September last year, the Pact for the Future outlines a shared vision and cooperation framework across key areas to accelerate the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), strengthen multilateralism, and enhance the role and effectiveness of the United Nations.

During meetings with UN officials on this occasion, Ambassador Viet reaffirmed Vietnam’s strong commitment to multilateralism and the UN agenda, particularly initiatives that promote peace, sustainable development, and effective responses to global challenges.
