The Vietnamese delegation joined 19 other military delegations from countries invited by Russia to participate in the official parade on May 9. The Vietnamese troop will appear eighth among the international forces, followed by delegations from China, Laos, and Myanmar.
A large number of Vietnamese expatriates in Russia gathered at Red Square, enthusiastically waving flags and chanting Vietnam.
Vietnam has sent an 80-member delegation, including 68 cadets from the Army Officer Training School No.1, to participate in the military parade.
