In an editorial on its front page, Pasaxon, the official organ of the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party, said that after many decades, the special Laos-Vietnam relationship has become intensive and effective in every aspect, particularly in politics, diplomacy, defense, and security.
Economic and trade links have proved fruitful. In 2023, the two will continue to expand cooperation and assist each other’s socio-economic development to generate real benefits for their people, according to Pasaxon.
Pathet Lao, a newspaper of the Lao News Agency (KPL), wrote that PM Chinh’s visit once again affirms the consistent wish of the two Parties, States, and peoples to maintain their close relations and mutual trust, which are rare in today's world.
