(VOVworld) – Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh Municipal Party Committee Dinh La Thang led a delegation to visit health facilities and workers in Ho Chi Minh City on Sunday to mark the 62nd anniversary of Vietnamese Physicians’ Day on February 27.

He visited the Preventive Medicine Center, the Tropical Hospital, the Oncology Hospital, and the Ear-Nose-Throat Hospital.
On Sunday, the Vietnamese Association of Medicine and Pharmacy in Russia met in Moscow. Doctor Phan Tuyet Hang, Vice Chairwoman of the Association, said: “We have provided medical care for Vietnamese people. We will provide them with regular medical check-ups and encourage them to undergo medical treatment if an illness is detected.”
In Phnompenh, Cambodia, the Association of Vietnamese Cambodians organized a meeting and debuted the 9-member Provisional Executive Board of the Vietnamese Physicians' Association in Cambodia. The Association, chaired by Doctor Hoan Hoa, a director of a Vietnamese hospital in Phnompenh, is a volunteer organization of Vietnamese people living in Cambodia.
