Participants identified challenges facing businesses, including improving product quality, lowering production costs, and leveraging their competitive edge, to meet customers’ rising demands.
Active involvement in the "Vietnamese people use Vietnamese goods" campaign is essential for businesses to develop domestic market and win consumer’s trust.
Nguyen Tien Dinh, Vice Chairman of Economic Advisory Council of the VFF Central Committee, told the seminar, “An ignorance of the domestic market will put us at a great disadvantage given improved living standards which is fueling domestic consumption. Vietnamese people will opt for made-in-Vietnam products which are sold at a lower price.”
The core solution to the domestic market development is the supply-demand chain, which is conducive to businesses’ loop from production to sales, thus helping the ongoing economic recovery.
