Mr. Anh asked the Vietnamese Embassy to the UK and Northern Ireland to better cooperate with Vietnamese agencies to effectively implement action programs to enhance the Vietnam-UK ties.
During his meeting with Vietnamese living and working there, Mr. Anh said the Party and Government have always considered overseas Vietnamese an inseparable part of the nation and acknowledged their contributions to national economic development. He informed them of the Party and State policies in protecting national sovereignty of sea and islands which resolve disputes by peaceful measures in line with international law including the UN Convention on the Law of the Sea (UNCLOS) and the Declaration on the Conduct of Parties in the East Sea (DOC).
