The delegation had meetings with San Francisco Mayor Edwin Lee and Ken Alex, Senior Policy Advisor to Californian Governor Jerry Brown. Nguyen Van Hung, Secretary of the Quang Tri provincial Party Committee said the Vietnamese Government has created favorable conditions for cooperation with the US. He said localities back the government’s polices and are implementing Vietnam-US joint projects. The hosts said California attaches importance to fostering the US-Vietnam comprehensive partnership through cooperation. The Vietnamese delegation then attended a connectivity roundtable with the San Francisco Bay Area business community.
