In the messages, the Vietnamese leaders praised China’s achievements in the last 69 years and expressed their belief that Chinese people will successfully fulfill tasks set out at China’s 19th National Party Congress to develop China further and to contribute to peace, stability and prosperity in the region and the world. The Vietnamese leaders reiterated that Vietnam wants to strengthen the traditional friendship and comprehensive strategic partnership between the two countries. To mark the occasion, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Pham Binh Minh sent a congratulatory message to Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi.
