During the visit, the Indian coast guard conducted a search and rescue exercise with Vietnam’s Region 3 Coast Guard Command of Ba Ria-Vung Tau province. The aim of the exercise was to promote solidarity and traditional friendship between the armed forces of Vietnam and India. It was an opportunity for the two sides to share experience and improve their search and rescue and their law enforcement at sea capabilities.
