Dinh Anh Trung, who lives in California, said:“I know about good nutrition and good hygiene. I work from home, meet with people only as needed, and only go out when absolutely necessary. I talk to my friends by phone and encourage them to stay strong in this difficult time.”

The US has confirmed nearly 11,000 Covid-19 infections and 160 deaths. There are 30,000 Vietnamese students living in the US. Most of their schools and universities are closed, possibly until the next school year.

Nguyen Xuan Nhat Ha, a student at Townsend University in Maryland, said:“I’ve stocked up on food, hand sanitizer, and medicines, which are crucial. I watch the news everyday to keep up with the situation. I also read articles that explain what to do if I get infected.”

The Covid-19 outbreak in the US is expected to get much worse before it gets better.
