Vietnamese in Germany and the Czech Republic continue protests against China

(VOVworld) – About 7,000 Vietnamese and foreigners in Germany joined a march in Berlin on Sunday protesting against China’s illegal placement of oil rig Haiyang 981 in Vietnam’s EEZ and continental shelf. This has been the third protest in Berlin and the biggest one in Germany since China’s violation of Vietnam’s sovereignty.

Also that day, the Vietnamese Catholics Associations of the Czech Republic in Teblice city jointly held prayers for national peace and raised donations in support of Vietnamese forces and fishermen who are defending national sovereignty over Hoang Sa and Truong Sa archipelagos.
