According to initial statistics, nearly 8.6% of inventions have been commercialized, a rate the Intellectual Property Office considers "relatively high compared to the global average".

Office Director Luu Hoang Long said last year it received over 165,000 applications for industrial property rights, up more than 8% compared to 2024. The number of processed applications exceeded 251,000, up 76%.

The number of granted patents increased 55%. The fields of inventions, industrial designs, and trademarks all recorded positive growth, reflecting the "growing demand for intellectual property protection" and innovation development in Vietnam.
