(VOV) – The important role of Confucian relics in research and the organization of cultural, scientific, and tourism activities to promote education was highlighted at a seminar held yesterday/on Wednesday at the Temple of Literature - Van Mieu – Quoc Tu Giam in Hanoi. Participants agreed that the organization of cultural, scientific and tourism activities at Confucian relics should be further promoted to revitalize the relics in harmony with contemporary social activities to educate people while contributing to economic development and generating funds for preservation work. Presentations at the seminar provided a general overview of Confucianism in Vietnam, its social effects, its establishment, and its current existence. Participants also discussed the reflection of daily life in Confucian worshipping rituals, and the tradition of honoring talented people.
