Vietnamese citizens repatriated from Canada, South Korea

(VOVWORLD) -A special Vietnam Airlines flight brought home safely 300 Vietnamese citizens on Monday.

The flight was arranged by Vietnamese authorities, Vietnam representative agencies in Canada, Vietnam Embassy in South Korea and agencies of host countries.

Passengers included children and students under 18 years of age, seniors, pregnant women, seriously ill people, students who have completed the study but faced difficulties in accommodation and cannot extend visa or residence permits, workers whose visas or employment contracts expired, and stranded travelers.

Shortly after landing at Can Tho airport in southern Vietnam, all people on board were given medical supervision and transported to quarantine facilities in line with regulations.
