(VOVworld) – The Association of Cities of Vietnam held a workshop in Da Nang city to share experience on community development through UN funds. Delegates discussed further connectivity between Vietnamese cities towards sustainable urban development. The UN fund for community development has supported infrastructure and housing projects, capacity and livelihood improvement for the poor in urban areas. More than 2,500 community saving schemes have been set up nationwide, mobilizing more than 3.5 million dollars of saving to help nearly 50,000 members.
