(VOVworld)- The Vietnamese Party, State and the entire community pay special attention to taking care of children, especially those from disadvantaged backgrounds in the nation’s far-flung areas. National Assembly Vice Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan  made the remarks while attending a ceremony to mark the 20th founding anniversary of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour (VGCL)’s fund for children: Many children in remote and mountainous areas, disabled children and children with difficulties still face numerous hardships and have not yet enjoyed the fundamental rights of children. Thus organizations and individuals both at home and abroad should work together to help the fund give more support to the unfortunate. I hope that the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour and its affiliates will improve childcare and protection and better represent laborers’ legitimate rights and interests.
