During the meeting, the two sides discussed expanding cooperation and enhancing international money transfer and payment services between Vietnam and Australia, thereby providing more value for customers in both countries.

They looked at the expansion of EzyRemit's services not only in the two countries, but also to potential markets such as New Zealand, Japan, Canada, the US, and Europe. This is part of EzyRemit's long-term development strategy to meet the increasing demand for international money transfers and payments from overseas communities worldwide.

James Fairley from the Australian Trade and Investment Commission (AUSTRADE) said that Australian Vietnam have natural strengths in working together and collaboration. 

“I think the nature of their societies - Vietnam having a young society and technologically savvy while Australia having financial strengths with Ezyremit being a prime example. I think particularly Ezyremit and Sacombank are testament to that,” said Fairley.
