Ambassador Pham Quang Vinh was awared an insignia by the US-Asia Institute, a non-governmental oranization established in 1979 to promote US-Asian ties

The insignia recognizes Mr. Vinh’s contributions to improving US-Vietnam ties over the past years. Speaking at the seminar, Ambassador Vinh stated that the Asia-Pacific region has seen dramatic changes over the years, which have brought about both opportunities and challenges.

In this context, Vietnam, as the host of the APEC Economic Leaders’ Week, has chosen the theme “Creating New Dynamism, Fostering a Shared Future” to encourage new proposals to promote growth, expand investment and trade for regional integration and sustainable development, he added.
