Minister Petříček applauded the fine development of the traditional friendship and multifaceted cooperation between the two countries. He thanked for the support of the Vietnamese government and people in the Czech Republic during the COVID-19 pandemic. He expressed his impression at Vietnam’s economic growth given the disruptions caused the coronavirus worldwide. Minister Petříček said Vietnam is the Czech Republic’s important partner in Southeast Asia.

Ambassador Dung said Vietnam always consider the Czech Republic its important partner in the Central and Eastern Europe, adding that he expects the traditional friendship and multifaceted cooperation between the two countries will reach a new height. Vietnam is looking forward to welcoming the Czech investors in energy, manufacturing industry, healthcare, chemicals, tourism, and transportation now that the EVFTA has been put in place, said the Ambassador.
