The event marked the 50th anniversary of Vietnam-Cambodia diplomatic ties and the bilateral friendship year 2017. Delegates recalled their memories during the struggles for national liberation, construction, and development of each country. Vu Mao, President of the Vietnam-Cambodia Friendship Association, said: “This year we have conducted a series of big events to mark the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Cambodia. Both consistently develop their friendship and neighborliness for national construction and for peace.”
An art program was held to celebrate friendship and cooperation between the Vietnamese and Cambodians.
