(VOVworld) – A special exchange program to enhance Vietnam-Cambodia border cooperation was held in Tay Ninh province on Thursday morning.

It included a discussion on the Defense Cooperation Agreement and crime prevention between Vietnam and Cambodia, and the opening of a joint military medical clinic, which will provide free medical check-ups and medicines for people in border areas. Soldiers from Phước Tân border post and Cambodian border police jointly patrolled from border checkpoint number 150 to 151.  In the evening, a joint cultural performance celebrated strong cooperation on border issues between Vietnam and Cambodia.
