Members of the provincial Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and the Association of Former Vietnamese Youth Volunteers offered incense and flowers to commemorate the heroic martyrs and youth volunteers who fought and sacrificed for national independence.

Co Noi T-Junction — the gateway to the North West of Vietnam — witnessed the life sacrifice of 100 youth volunteers during the battle against the French colonialists. A monument was built to commemorate the Vietnam Youth Volunteers Force.
