In the mixed doubles’ final, Do Tuan Duc and Pham Nhu Thao lost to M. Mikkelsen and M. Surrow of Denmark 19-21, 21-17, 19-21 in 49 minutes to take the silver medal. In the men’s doubles’ final, Duc and Pham Hong Nam were defeated by Yew Sin Ong and Ee Yi Teo of Malaysia 17-21, 22-24 in 39 minutes.

Vietnam sent five players to compete in the mixed doubles, men’s and women’s doubles events.

The next international championship Vietnam will compete in will be in Romania
