Vietnamese bodybuilders had a total of 8 gold, 6 silver, and 4 bronze medals, propelling them to third position, behind India and Mongolia.

It was a 6th world championship for Pham Van Mach and the best showing by Vietnamese bodybuilders in the history of their participation at the world event.

The 2023 Championship attracted 300 bodybuilders from 39 countries and territories.
