This marked Vietnam's first international championship title of 2024 in football and will give the Vietnamese women's futsal team a strong boost in the FIFA rankings. The team, led by head coach Nguyen Dinh Hoang, is currently ranked 11th.
Vietnamese player Phuong Anh, who scored five goals, was honored as the Top Scorer of the tournament, while Thanh Hang was voted the Best Player.
