(VOVworld)- Vietnam will not limit quotas of its rice exports and is always ready to share experiences with other countries in agriculture and rural development. Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Cao Duc Phat made the affirmation at a press briefing in Hanoi on Thursday to announce the outcomes of the 31st session of the FAO Regional Conference for Asia and the Pacific, hosted in Hanoi this week. Speaking at the event, FAO General Director José Graziano da Silva said that the organization is promoting a new approach named “Protection and Growth” in agricultural production. He added that FAO has provided information to help countries minimize the use of chemical substances, fertilizers, and pesticides in agricultural production, thus reducing climate change impacts on agricultural activities.
