Mr. Man was speaking at a reception for Vice Chairman of the Council of the Republic of Belarus Siarhei Khamenka, who leads a delegation to Vietnam to attend the state funeral of Party leader Trong. 

Vietnam always attaches importance to its traditional friendship and multifaceted cooperation with Belarus and wishes to strengthen cooperation with the country in all fields, Mr. Man said. He noted that the Belarusian delegation's attendance at the funeral demonstrates the sincere feelings of Belarus and its people toward the Party, State, and people of Vietnam in this period of sorrow and loss.

Mr. Khamenka conveyed the profound condolences of the Belarusian leaders and people to the Party, State, and people of Vietnam on the passing of General Secretary Trong, and delivered to Chairman Man a message of condolence from the President of Belarus.
