(VOVworld)- President Truong Tan Sang thanked Japan for its technical assistance in fishing and processing ocean tuna which has generated high efficiency products for fishermen in central Binh Dinh province. At a reception for the Japanese Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries Nishikawa Koya in Hanoi on Wednesday, President Sang expressed his hope that Japan will continue providing technological support for fishermen in other cities and provinces to tap Vietnam’s fishing potential. He suggested the two sides expand cooperation in aquaculture, agriculture, and cultivation to raise the quality and productivity of Vietnamese products. He said Vietnam has potential materials for bird flu prevention vaccine production and is ready to cooperate with Japan in this field. Sang said Vietnam is committed to improving its business environment to welcome foreign investors. He said with the diligence and creativity of the Vietnamese people, along with the technical assistance of Japan, Vietnam expects to see new breakthroughs in agriculture and other fields.
