(VOVWORLD) - On the first day of the Lunar New Year 2025 on Wednesday, Vinh Long province held a special ceremony to welcome the first group of foreign tourists of the new spring. The visitors, arriving from Germany, France, Australia, Austria, Switzerland, and other countries, were greeted with flowers and gifts.

On the same day, more than 530 Polish tourists arrived at the Cam Ranh International Airport on a SkyUp Airlines flight—the first international arrival of the Lunar New Year at the airport.

During their 10-day stay in Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa, the visitors will explore Nha Trang and experience Catamaran sailing.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Le Thanh, Director of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Department of Tourism, said: "Welcoming visitors from Poland on the first day of the Lunar New Year presents a valuable opportunity for Khanh Hoa to expand its tourism market to the European visitors. We will continue to promote tourism in this region."

Meanwhile, Da Nang hosted a welcoming event for international tourists at Da Nang International Airport. Organized annually on the first day of the Lunar New Year, this ceremony highlights the city’s commitment to offering a warm, hospitable reception to visitors from around the world.
