(VOVworld) – A workshop themed “Vietnam – destination for European tourists” was held on Friday in Da Nang city.

Vietnam welcomes an average of 1 million European tourists annually.

The Vietnam Tourism Association introduced Vietnam’s new tourist products  and policies and highlighted the development of responsible and community tourism. The workshop created a chance to promote Vietnam’s image to the world. Vu The Binh, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Tourism Association, said: “We must take more actions to promote tourism and further attract European tourists. We hope tourism workshops like this will promote exchanges between Vietnam’s tourist companies and their European partners”.

Since 2010, Vietnam has welcomed an average of 1 million European tourists annually.
