The Party, State and people of Vietnam value the traditional friendship between Vietnam and Belarus, President Cuong said.

He expressed his wish to further bilateral cooperation in areas where Belarus has strengths and Vietnam has needs such as science-technology, industry, agriculture. The Belarusian National Assembly supports increased contacts, exchanges and cooperation at high and all levels, especially on the parliamentary channel, and creates a favorable legal framework for effective and substantive implementation of agreements between the two countries' senior leaders, President Cuong suggested.

For his part, Chairman Sergeyenko emphasized the great significance and importance of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2. Belarus and Vietnam, with a long history of trust and close relations, having gone through many challenges, attach importance to boosting relations with each other, he added.
