The event celebrated the 80th anniversary of the founding of Vietnam’s diplomatic sector (August 28) and the 35th anniversary of Vietnam-EU diplomatic relations.

The ambassadors and chargé d’affaires enjoyed tea and some Vietnamese specialties, such as green bean cakes, moon cakes, and peanut candy, and were introduced to the tea culture imbued with Vietnamese national identity and hospitality.

Deputy Foreign Minister Hang thanked international friends and partners for working closely with the Vietnamese diplomatic sector for a proactive, humane, and responsible diplomacy.

International friends extended congratulations to the Vietnamese people on the 80th anniversary of National Day, praising the glorious history of the indomitable and resilient Vietnamese people.
