(VOVworld) - US Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg held a press conference in Hanoi on Tuesday during a working visit to Vietnam.

At her earlier meeting with Chief Judge of the Vietnam Supreme People’s Court Truong Hoa Binh, the two sides agreed to spur cooperation aiming to raise the transparency of judgement activities.

She told the press that she hopes Vietnam-US relations will develop sustainably with more exchanges between citizens, businesses, students, and high-level government delegations.

She noted that a number of judges from the US Federal Courts will pay a working visit to Vietnam in September to deepen mutual understanding between the two nations on judicial matters.
