Deputy Minister of Labor, Invalids, and Social Affairs Le Van Thanh said: “Vietnam has joined Conventions of the International Labor Organization. We have domesticated ILO’s Conventions with Vietnamese laws, especially the 2019 Labor Code. The Ministry of Labor and the ILO have signed multiple cooperation agreements for the 2021-2030 period. We hope that the US will better understand Vietnam's policies on labor, employment, children, gender equality, and social security. Vietnam will learn from the US’s experience to develop legal documents in the near future.”
