Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Nguyen Sinh Nhat Tan met with Deputy  Trade Representative Rick Switzer in the US on Wednesday to discuss bilateral economic and commercial relations and the implementation of the outcomes of the session on Monday between Minister of Industry and Trade Nguyen Hong Dien and US Trade Representative Jamieson Greer. 

Switzer welcomed Vietnam’s positive progress in trade policy, institutional reform and international integration commitments. He affirmed that close cooperation between the two sides would facilitate the negotiating process.
